Prior to founding Monteverdi Creative, Inc. in 2001, principal David Paul Green worked for the Walt Disney Company, DIRECTV, IBM, Lockheed, Linn Electronics and others.

David brings over 25 years of experience in technology, communications and design to Monteverdi. He has led or made significant contributions in the following areas:

  • User interface design, product strategy and information architecture
  • Show scripts, including the 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Thea Awards and 2006 IAAPA Kickoff Event
  • On-site photography and photojournalism
  • Broadband services design
  • Set-top box interface design
  • Large-scale documentation projects
  • TV promos and featurette writing and producing
  • Theme park engineering support
  • Feature animation technical support and information systems
  • Database design, both relational (client-server) and non-relational
  • Sound design for user interfaces

Additionally, David is a trained journalist and published author in non-fiction, fiction and poetry. His software for amateur astronomy has garnered praise from a number of astronomy groups, and was favorably reviewed in Sky & Telescope magazine. It was also feature in the March 2007 BBC publication, "Sky at Night."

David is named as inventor or co-inventor on over 20 U.S. patent applications.

David is the co-author of two books — "Confessions of an Estrogen Evangelist" with Dr. Joyce Kakkis, and "Building a Better Mouse" with Steve Alcorn.

Thanks to his years of experience with leading companies in several industries, David has access to a vast pool of creative and technical talent. Monteverdi Creative, Inc. is run as a network of independent consultants and can morph to handle projects of varying scale and scope.
